Nissan Can’t Exit Suit Over Allegedly Flawed Auto-Brake System

Nissan North America Inc. failed to shake claims in a proposed class suit on behalf of drivers in three states alleging a flaw in their cars’ emergency braking system causes the vehicles to stop for nonexistent obstacles and deactivate itself when it shouldn’t.

Michelle Bereda, Angelene Hoeffken, and Scott Neri sued in the US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, seeking to represent statewide California, North Carolina, and Ohio classes.
