Nestlé USA Inc. deceptively touts its products as “sustainably sourced” even though its cocoa supply comes from farms that use child labor and don’t follow any environmental protocols, a new proposed class suit says.

Nestlé’s deceptive labeling misleads consumers into believing Butterfinger and Baby Ruth bars, Toll House chocolate chips and other products are made in accordance with environmentally and socially responsible standards, when the company knows they aren’t, Californian Renee Walker alleges.
