‘Natural’ Sour Cream Suit Curdles

Kraft Heinz Foods Co. and Daisy Brands LLC won dismissal of a proposed class suit challenging the label of “natural” Daisy sour cream.

John Newton and others alleged the “natural” wording is misleading because Daisy sour cream is made with cream from cows whose feed might contain genetically modified organisms.

They failed to state a plausible claim of deception, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York said.
