A proposed class action brought against
Joseph Wagner sued Molson Coors in July, alleging the company fortified its Vizzy products “with an insignificant amount of Vitamin C, and then blanketed the labels and advertising with statements” that touted the vitamin as being an antioxidant derived from the “superfruit” acerola. The complaint said the company capitalized on consumers’ growing desire for healthy food and drinks.
