Minor League Players Suing MLB Over Wages Ask High Court to Pass

Minor league baseball players asked the U.S. Supreme Court to let stand a ruling certifying class claims that Major League Baseball and its affiliate clubs don’t pay minimum wage or overtime.

The Ninth Circuit got it right when it found the players established league-wide policies not to pay wages during training seasons and never to pay overtime, the players told the high court Wednesday.

Those undisputed employment policies cut across every owner, every team, every player position, and thus every single minor league player, the players say.
