SC Johnson & Son Inc.'s “Method” line of cleaning products aren’t really nontoxic despite being portrayed that way, a California consumer says in a new proposed class suit in federal court in the state.

Felicia Toth alleged SC Johnson and its Method unit attempted to take advantage of the consumer market for environmentally friendly products made with natural ingredients by deceptively marketing the Method products as nontoxic.
