Mercedes, Bosch Diesel Cheating Claims Proceed

Most consumer claims against Mercedes-Benz USA LLC and Robert Bosch LLC over alleged cheating devices in diesel vehicles may proceed, a federal judge ruled.

Ulyana Lynevych and a number of other consumers are seeking to represent nationwide and state classes of Mercedes vehicle owners in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Similar suits are proceeding, or have been resolved, against other carmakers caught up in the emissions-cheating scandal that started with Volkswagen AG.
