Lenovo Laptop Owners Seek Nod for Deal Providing Repairs, Cash

Laptop owners who alleged Lenovo United States Inc. knowingly sold defective 2-in-1 devices urged a federal judge to approve a proposed class settlement providing free repairs and cash payments.

Consumers alleged certain Yoga and Flex computers, made with a flexible hinge system that allows them to function as either laptops or tablets, have a defect that causes the monitor display to flicker, freeze, black out, or display corrupted visuals.
