L.A.-Area Recycler Pollutes California Waters, Lawsuit Says (1)

A food waste processing and recycling company hasn’t controlled the amount of pollutants leaving its southern California facility in stormwater, resulting in contamination of nearby waters, environmental groups say in a citizen suit filed in federal district court.

Inland Empire Waterkeeper and Orange County Coastkeeper allege pollutants from PreZero US Inc.'s facility in Ontario, Calif., are discharging into a nearby creek, which is connected to the Santa Ana River and the Pacific Ocean.
