Kroger Pain Patch’s ‘Eight Hour’ Claim Deceptive, Suit Says (1)

Kroger Co. deceptively touts its private-label pain patches as providing “Up to 8 Hours of Relief” when they regularly fall off users’ skin long before that, a new proposed class action in federal court in Illinois alleges.

Consumers believe “up to eight hours” means the skin patch will remain applied for no less than eight hours and maybe even longer than that, Illinois resident Tina Lee alleges in a suit filed Monday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
