Kraft Faces Consumer Deception Suit Over Lead in Lunchables (1)

Kraft Heinz Co. deceptively advertises its Lunchables products because the company doesn’t disclose the presence of unsafe lead, a new potential class action lawsuit alleges.

Vincent Palmeri says the phrase “100% Freshness Guaranteed” on the front of Lunchables packaging “would be interpreted by any reasonable consumer as a guarantee that the Products are safe to be consumed,” according to the complaint he filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
