Kona Beer Fraud Suit May Be Down to Last Drops

A would-be class action over whether Kona beer misleads consumers into thinking it’s brewed in Hawaii may be down to its final drops.

Plaintiffs must file a new complaint by Dec. 18 alleging an “actual, imminent, and ongoing injury” in their suit against beer maker Craft Brew Alliance Inc., the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Nov. 27 (Broomfield v. Craft Brew Alliance, Inc., 2017 BL 423588, N.D. Cal., No. 17-cv-01027-BLF, 11/27/17).
