Kenvue Consumer Advances Fraud Suit Over ‘Oil-Free’ Products

Kenvue Brands LLC failed to escape a proposed class action alleging some of its skincare products are falsely marketed as “oil-free.”

The consumer who brought the suit adequately alleged that Kenvue “misled reasonable consumers by labeling the products ‘oil-free,’” Judge John F. Kness of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said Wednesday, partially denying a motion to dismiss.
