Kentucky City Beats Claims It Conspired With Corning Over Toxins

Danville, Ky., won dismissal of claims it conspired with Corning Inc. and Philips Electronics North America to conceal the presence of toxic chemicals released from a glass production plant after a federal court in the state cited a lack of evidence.

Individuals and companies that own properties and, or, live in the Cowan neighborhood allege personal injury and property damage from arsenic, lead, trichloroethylene and other chemicals from the plant.

They allege that ground-penetrating radar shows “what appear to be” barrels of hazardous substances buried beneath Cowan parkland.

But even if true, no showing has been made of a conspiracy ...
