Just For Men Hair Dye Suits Face Fight Over Where Suits Belong

Just For Men hair dye corporate defendants want thousands of tort claims thrown out of an Illinois court proceeding, saying there aren’t enough contacts with Illinois to support the non-residents’ suits in the state.

The fight is brewing over whether the suits can stay in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

Plaintiffs have asked the court for jurisdictional discovery—information they say would establish a link with the defendants and Illinois.
