Insurers Can’t Use, Cover Drones Because of Policy Gaps

Insurers aren’t able to realize the benefits of drone technologies for assessing claims or to offer underwriting policies on the unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) because regulators and lawmakers have not made key policy decisions, the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies told Bloomberg BNA.
