Hyundai Recalls 52,008 US Vehicles on Oil Pump Components Issue

Hyundai Motor America is recalling certain 2023-2024 Palisade, 2023 Tucson, Sonata, Elantra, and Kona vehicles because the electronic controller for the Idle Stop & Go oil pump assembly may contain damaged electrical components that can cause the pump controller to overheat, according to a filing to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
