HP, Nvidia Exit Lawsuit Over Laptop Graphics Card Glitches

HP Inc. and Nvidia Corp. beat a proposed class suit alleging they exaggerated a laptop’s capability to run video games, as a federal court in Delaware said Tuesday that the plaintiff failed to show their marketing statements were false.

Nor did he show he had relied on any allegedly deceptive statements or failure to disclose information about performance limitations, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware said.

After consulting third-party reviews, Mark Twardzik bought an HP Envy 13 to use for playing video games while traveling.
