House Republicans introduced measures to roll back a Biden-era decision allowing California to adopt stricter emissions standards for cars and trucks.

Two Congressional Review Act resolutions, announced in a press release Thursday, would nix the former administration’s approval of a waiver to California to impose stricter-than-federal regulations on car (H.J.Res. 88) and truck emissions (H.J.Res. 87). Another measure (H.J.Res. 89) would repeal tougher emissions standards for medium- and heavy-duty trucks and other engines.
