Lawsuits alleging that Horizon Therapeutics USA Inc. failed to warn that its thyroid eye disease drug Tepezza can cause hearing loss and tinnitus were combined and sent to a Chicago courtroom.
A single proceeding will make the litigation fairer and more streamlined, and more suits are pending in the Northern District of Illinois than in any other district, the US Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation said June 2.
