A Colorado industrial hemp manufacturer can’t undo a criminal case in Idaho that resulted in the seizure of a 13,000-pound interstate shipment of the cannabis-based product from Oregon, a federal court ruled.
Big Sky Scientific LLC, based in Aurora, Colo., lost its bid to get the seized hemp released, while the truck driver will face felony marijuana trafficking charges, the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho said Feb. 19.
