Harris Teeter Sued Over ‘Naturally Flavored’ Cereal Bar Labels

Harris Teeter LLC “misbranded and deceptively labelled” its cereal bars as being naturally flavored despite the fact they contain an artificial ingredient, a proposed class action filed Thursday alleges.

The grocery chain “made material misrepresentations of fact and omissions on its front and back labels when it stated that the Products were ‘Naturally Flavored With Other Natural Flavors’ despite the Products containing an artificial flavoring,” the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina claims.
