Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Owners Settle Bad Brake Claims

Two motorcycle owners have settled and dismissed claims alleging Harley-Davidson Motor Co. sold motorcycles with a defective anti-lock braking system, according to filings in the Northern District of California.

Ronald Garcia and Michiel Harrison alleged 2008–2010 Harley-Davidson Touring or CVO Touring motorcycles have a defective wiring harness that can fail under normal operation. The failure can cause the ABS to stop functioning without warning or any obvious sign to the rider, their proposed class action said.
