Google Nest Devices Fail to Respond to Voice Commands, Suit Says

Google LLC’s Nest devices no longer accurately respond to users’ voice commands, consumers who feel they didn’t get what they paid for said in a proposed class action.

Consumers are “stuck with an unreliable, nonfunctioning Google Nest ecosystem in which they’ve invested hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of dollars that Google is unable or unwilling to fix,” according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

The complaint cited Google’s Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max, Nest Mini, and Nest Audio as products that have lost voice control functionality.
