Plaintiffs allegedly experienced battery drain or “bootloop,” which happens when the phone randomly reboots or constantly reboots without advancing to the home screen.
The settlement covers all purchasers in the U.S. who bought a Nexus 6P smartphone after Sept. 29, 2015, according to the plaintiffs’ motion asking the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to preliminarily approve the deal.
