GNC Defeats Magnesium Supplement Concentration Deception Suit

GNC Holdings LLC convinced a federal judge to toss for now a proposed class action alleging it mislabeled the concentration of its Super Magnesium supplement.

The US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said the plaintiff hasn’t adequately pleaded that he purchased a defective product, and so lacked standing. The court dismissed the consumer’s suit Feb. 28.
