General Motors Corp. May 4 said it is recalling more than 154,100 Chevrolet Cruze vehicles in the United States and Canada to determine if the intermediate steering shaft and automatic transmission shift linkages are properly installed.
The recall affects 2011 model year (MY) vehicles built in Lordstown, Ohio. Unsold vehicles on dealer lots also will be inspected. “We think very few vehicles in the population have either issue, but we chose to conduct these inspections to give customers additional peace of mind about the quality of the Cruze,” GM Vice President of Global Quality Terry Woychowski said in a statement. ...
