Former Commissioner Goes to Bracewell & Giuliani

Former Consumer Product Safety Commissioner and congresswoman Anne Northup will join Bracewell & Giuliani LLP’s Policy Resolution Group May 7, a source told BNA May 6.

Northup will act as a “strategist and advisor for the firm’s clients, particularly those in the consumer products, health, international trade, energy, environment, and manufacturing sectors,” according to an advance copy of the press announcement.

The firm’s clients include the Window Covering Manufacturers Association, the power sports industry, such as ATV and ROV manufacturers, and the Power Tool Institute, though these are not necessarily the clients Northup will be working with, the source said. ...
