Ford Motor Co. avoided class action claims by police officers who allege they were injured by exhaust fumes in Ford Interceptor SUVs, after the District of Washington found the claims require individualized factual determinations.
It’s the second time the court has dismissed the claims. The court in April 2020 ruled that the allegations were too broad to proceed as a class, but granted the plaintiffs a chance to refile.
The amended complaint failed to remedy the deficiencies, the U.S. District Court for the District of Washington ruled Thursday.
