Ford Recalls Nearly 1.89m US Vehicles on Trim Piece Issue: NHTSA

Ford Motor is recalling certain 2011-2019 Explorer vehicles on a detached trim piece issue, according to a statement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

  • The A-pillar trim retention clips may not be properly engaged, allowing the trim to detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash
