Ford Recalls 189,814 US Vehicles on Turn Signal Failure: NHTSA

December 22, 2023, 10:29 AM UTC

Ford is recalling certain 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles on account of a nonfunctioning exterior turn signal, according to a statement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

  • If one of the rear turn signals stops working, the car won’t adjust the signal flash-rate frequency to warn the driver that a turn signal isn’t working correctly, increasing the risk of a crash
  • Up to 189,814 cars may be affected
  • Owner notification letters expected to be mailed Jan. 2
