Ford Gets Another Injury Suit Tossed Over Car Sold Out of State

Ford Motor Co.‘s activities in South Carolina didn’t lead to a couple’s injuries there in an SUV they purchased in Michigan, a federal court in South Carolina ruled.

Their claims against Ford must therefore be dismissed for lack of personal jurisdiction, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina said.
