Ford, Bosch Truck Emissions Case Ends as Drivers Drop Claims

Individual pickup truck owners who sued Ford Motor Co. and Robert Bosch GmbH over alleged emissions cheating on behalf of a proposed class have dropped their claims, a federal court in Michigan said in dismissing the case.

It wasn’t clear whether the parties’ agreement to end the suit reflected a settlement of the 26 truck owners’ claims. Attorneys for Ford, Bosch, and the plaintiffs didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Attorney fees and costs aren’t covered, according to the parties’ filing Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The court dismissed the suit the ...
