Target Corp. of Minneapolis recalled some 25,000 Threshold two-bulb floor lamps Sept. 3 for fire and shock hazards, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said, citing six reports of short circuits that resulted in fires, minor property damage and shocks to two consumers.
The floor lamps were sold exclusively at Target from September 2012 through May 2013 for about $70, CPSC said. An additional 541 lamps were recalled in Canada, the CPSC said.
