Two food-safety regulations affecting manufacturers were finalized by the Food and Drug Administration, and will be made public soon.
The agency on Aug. 31 said the preventive controls for human and animal food rules were sent to the Federal Register and would be published within the next several days.
“While we don’t know precisely what date the Federal Register will publish the final rules, we expect it to be soon,” Juli Putnam, an agency spokeswoman, told Bloomberg BNA in an e-mail.
