FCA Settles With Viper Owner Who Sought Fixes Under Pricey Plan

FCA US LLC has settled a California consumer’s individual claims alleging it failed to ensure dealers could repair Dodge Viper sports cars when it sold a $2,600 service plan promising repairs at any dealership, the automaker told a federal court in the state.

The terms are confidential, FCA spokesman Michael Palese said in an email Wednesday. An attorney for the consumer, Ebby Bakhtiar, didn’t immediately respond to a request for information and comment.

FCA filed the notice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California Tuesday.
