The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit Oct. 18 denied Facebook’s request for full-court review of a decision issued by a three-judge panel.
The panel Aug. 8 upheld a trial court ruling that the privacy suit may proceed as a class action on behalf of Illinois Facebook users going back to 2011 whose photos were tagged and collected in a company-controlled database.
