Eyelash Growth Product Suit Advances Against Rodan & Fields

Rodan & Fields LLC must continue to defend against a proposed class suit alleging it failed to disclose the risk of harmful side effects linked to an ingredient in an eyelash growth cosmetic product.

Barbara Lewis and others sufficiently allege fraud claims under the consumer protection laws of California, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said Feb. 28.

The company’s Enhancements Lash Boost eye serum caused side effects including changed eye color, a grey spot in vision, and eyelashes falling out and not growing back, some consumers say.
