Baylor University is facing a lawsuit by a former member of its women’s soccer team who alleges she was required to take part in “header drills” that caused her lasting neurological damage.
Plaintiff Eva Mitchell alleges that Paul Jobson, who coached the Baylor women’s soccer team, subjected the players “to repetitive, brutal, dangerous, and unnecessary heading drills during practice,” even after she suffered a concussion, according to the complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the the Western District of Texas.
