Ex-Angels Employee Pleads Not Guilty in Death of Tyler Skaggs

Former Los Angeles Angels employee Eric Kay pleaded not guilty in the Northern District of Texas to charges he provided fentanyl that killed pitcher Tyler Skaggs.

Skaggs was found dead in a Texas hotel room on July 1, 2019, at the age of 27. The coroners’ report showed that he had alcohol and opioids in his system at the time of his death.
