The estate of one of the storm chasers who was in a car that struck another while they were filming for the Weather Channel—killing all three people involved—has settled negligence claims filed by the mother of the driver of the other car, the parties told the Northern District of Texas.
The terms are unknown, but counsel for the parties are “in the process of preparing and finalizing the necessary written settlement,” according to the notice filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
