Eonsmoke Pushed Illegal Vapes Using Social Media Stars, FDA Says

A vaping company whose products were promoted online by high-profile social-media influencers was told by U.S. regulators its marketing ran afoul of the law and that its products are illegal.

The Food and Drug Administration said in a warning letter dated Oct. 24 to Eonsmoke LLC that the Clifton, New Jersey-based company didn’t have required authorization for nearly 100 of its flavored electronic nicotine delivery system products, among other violations, and that they thus can’t be sold in the U.S.
