Ecolab Faces Hospital Worker’s Suit Over OxyCide Cleaners

Ecolab Inc. has been hit with a suit in Minnesota federal court alleging a hospital employee was injured by her workplace exposure to “dangerous chemicals and compounds” in its OxyCide cleaning products.

Gretchen Eadson, an employee of Stanford Heathcare in Palo Alto, California, alleges she suffered nose bleeds and “acute coughing,” on her first exposure to OxyCide Daily Disinfectant Cleaner and OxyCide Dilution Management System in 2017.

After experiencing severe coughing for a couple of months, Eadson was seen by a medical specialist who recommended she avoid further exposure to the products, and the hospital is currently working on ...
