Coterie Baby Inc., a self-described high performance baby care product company, says a consumer lacks standing to bring a false advertising suit alleging the company deceptively marketed its products as “PFAS-free.”
The “entire” lawsuit is “founded on allegations of a single, isolated laboratory test of one Coterie diaper that purportedly identified PFAS in February 2024,” the company argues in its motion to dismiss filed Friday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Coterie sells diaper subscription boxes that start at $90 per month.
