Knauf Plasterboard Tianjin Co. and its co-defendants, producers of allegedly defective Chinese drywall in homes, businesses, and rental properties, have reached a settlement agreement with a plaintiff class to remediate the damage, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana held Dec. 20 (In In re Chinese Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation, E.D. La., MDL No. 2047).
The settlement, presided over by Judge Eldon E. Fallon, settled and resolved all current and future litigation and claims against the Knauf defendants.
