Deceptive fairlife Milk Marketing Suits Sent to Northern Illinois

Proposed class suits alleging fairlife LLC and Coca-Cola Co. falsely marketed fairlife’s premium milk as sourced from humanely treated cows were sent to federal court in Northern Illinois.

Defendant fairlife, a joint venture between Coca-Cola and the dairy cooperative Select Milk Producers Inc., is headquartered and has its principal place of business in Chicago.

Most parties supported the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois as their primary or second choice for the litigation, the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation said Oct. 2.
