Daimler Agrees to Settle Mercedes Owners’ Wood Trim Class Claims

Daimler AG’s offer to extend warranty coverage and reimburse past repairs of faded Mercedes wood trim on a sliding scale pegged to vehicle age merits preliminary approval, consumers told a federal court in Georgia.

Both types of relief cover E-series cars until they have been in service for 15 years, the would-be representatives of a nationwide class said March 5 in a filing in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
