Cummins Proposes $3.9 Million to Resolve Dodge Ram Defects Suit

Engine manufacturer Cummins Inc. has agreed to pay $3.9 million to resolve claims over allegedly defective 6.7 liter diesel engines installed in Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks between 2013-2016.

The plaintiffs in the lawsuit claim that Cummins, along with FCA US LLC, defrauded consumers by, among other things, concealing the defects and misrepresenting the emission performance of the trucks.
