Court Raises Questions About Taser Video; Hints Possible Spoliation at Issue

A man who was “tasered” by a police officer is entitled to discovery with respect to the existence of multiple clips of video that may depict the incident, as well as any other questions related to the taser gun and preservation of evidence generated by the taser’s camera during the incident, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut held Dec. 30 (Marchand v. Simonson, 2013 BL 357891, D. Conn., 3:11-cv-00348-TLM, 12/30/13).
