A district court has approved a settlement between the Environmental Protection Agency and two California companies over a Superfund site in Mountain View, Calif. (United States v. CTS Printex Inc.). The U.S. District Court of the Northern District of California entered a consent decree April 14 under which CTS Printex Inc. and ADN Corp. will pay nearly $3 million to remediate the remaining groundwater contamination at Mountain View. The federal court made no major changes to the settlement. The EPA announced the settlement Jan. 28 45 ER 367, 2/7/14, 21 DEN A-19, 1/31/14.
